I found "Hotel Inferno 3: The Castle of Screams" to be a very enjoyable rollercoaster of a movie, and I loved the atmosphere in the movie and the fact that the directors managed to make it feel like a first person shooter in every aspect. However, I will also say that I think the special effects in the movie is something that could part the audience either you overly enjoy it or you just downright loathe it because of its crudeness. I will actually go as far as to saying that the movie is well worth watching for the sake of the blood, gore and semi-low budget special effects.
It most certainly added to the overall feel of the movie and, most importantly, to the atmosphere of the movie. Sure, the special effects might be a bit crude or simplistic, but it worked. I have to admit that I was loving the carnage and the excessive amounts of blood in the movie.
